I can hardly believe my eyes!!!!
Late yesterday I had a peak under my bottles to see if any of the broccoli seeds had sprouted and lo and behold, they are up!!!!
In 5 days!!!!
Is that some kind of record???
I guess I should check the packet and see how long they are supposed to take. I'm such a precision gardener aren't I? I guess most people would have checked the packet first. LOL. I'm afraid I'm a bit of a "throw it in and see what happens" kind of gardener. Thankfully it seems to be working out okay so far.
Now to see if I can get them from a teeny tiny seedling into a healthy plant. :)

Yay! Well done :)
I've noticed seeds germinate faster in my (plastic covered) greenhouse than under the clear blue sky - retention of warmth kicks them into action ;)
Yummy green trees for dinner ;)
Broccoli will sprout very quickly in warm weather -- or perhaps it's day length? I've never figured it out. Good luck -- hope the cabbage moths don't find you!
Jayne - I wondered if the extra warmth and moist air may have helped?
Chookie - I hope the cabbage moths don't find me either. We don't seem to have TOO much trouble around here with them. It's more some kind of tiny mite that chews my seedlings.
I just had a thought - I wonder if planting them according the moon schedule made a difference to how quickly they sprouted. Since that's the point and all. LOL.
