Some people think I'm quite crazy the way I keep adding blogs to my reportoire. But just this morning while I was harvesting quite a reasonable crop from my garden, it occured to me that I really need to keep some sort of gardening journal. So I thought it would be fun to start a blog which tracks my progress in gardening and other self sufficient activities.
I wanted to call it "The Black Thumb" because I NEVER thought I'd be able to successfully grown anything. I wasn't even interested in trying until a few years ago. Now I'm as hooked on gardening as I am on blogging. ;) But that name was taken (along with about 50 others I tried) so I ended up sticking with Lightening's Garden. Very original. LOL.
You can discover more about me by visiting my other blogs (for those who haven't come here via one of them):
Lightening Online - This is my primary blog which has no set topic. I blog about whatever I am feeling like saying at the time. If you'd like to know more about ME, this would be the place to look.
Lightening's Blogworld - I admit I do spend quite a lot of time reading blogs and learning about blogging. This blog is a place where I write about things I have learnt in my blogging journey as well as profiling other blogs and discussing blog posts that I have read and enjoyed. I also feature things like blog competitions. If it is somehow related to blogging or the internet, you're likely to find it here.
For I Know the Plans I Have For You - I am by no means ashamed of my christianity. It is the centre of my life. I started this blog as a place where I felt free to blog whatever was on my heart in relation to God and the bible. Wanting to respect others views and beliefs, I've chosen to do this on a separate blog where people have the choice whether they wish to read what I have to say in this area.

The way you're going, you'll be blogging 23 hours out of 24....
actually, suddenly I see your cunning plan. 23 hours of blogging = no housework. Excellent idea!
Totally my idea!!! I'm terrible at doing the housework anyway so at least this gives me something productive to do!!!!
At least this blog will actually HELP me with the housework (if you consider the garden part of the housework - which of course I don't, otherwise I wouldn't get that done either!!! ;).
Oooh, just spotted this latest effort via Down To Earth. Into Bloglines you go!
Welcome Chookie and thank you. :)
